Reliance CDMA
Reliance is a leading Mobile phone service provider in India that started its operation early 2003. They are the first network to provide CDMA access to users in India. Current estimates show about 20 million subscribers using the network. Their mobile phone service includes prepaid and postpaid subscriptions, roaming and sms support. The network claims network of over 10,000 towns and cities with its 15,000 Base Station across the country. A unique service is called Reliance Mobile World where it supplies users with commercial and entertainment information like stock market quotes, banking information, sports results and movie schedules. It also has a wide variety of ring tone and multimedia downloads. They also have TV streaming services for handsets that allows this feature. Channel lineup includes MTV, CNBC and Disney Channel. These Reliance services would not be possible without the reliable CDMA network Reliance has constantly improved.
